Memorial Day OR, "the owls are not what they seem".

So for memorial day, i took a break from partying with all the roller girls by partying with just two of them. I took kim and frankie on a tour of north bend, more infamously known as twin peaks...

these are they:

We ate pie and drank coffee at tweede's (the double r):

and i showed them the salish lodge aka the great northern:

then i took them on a ferry ride to my hometown bremerton, showed them one of my favorite places (seabeck beach on the hood canal), and built a campfire in my parents backyard. (no pictures available. Damn me.)

we did lots that day.

That Bremerton ferry is so ghetto!

that's why i don't invite you when i ride the ferry every week cindy. because of your negative attitude.

want to know another good thing about north bend? i took my drivers license test there because i heard it was easier to pass, and it turned out i passed. also; outlet malls.

i'm starting to think you don't really do all these cool things - you just say you do and then pretend like you forgot to take picturs. lame-o

(to your credit though, you DO have that cookie monster picture)

lisa- you know what's easier than going to north bend to take your driver test? just learning to drive properly in the first place! ha! j/k! lol!

ck- i think you are just in denial. i think you can't stand that you broke up with seattle before knowing how much it truly rocks.

i think you're just sad because you don't have any seattle pictures of guys in skirts

ha! i do though. 2 of the referees at the roller derby i went to were wearing utili-kilts! face!

really?? holy cow, why didn't we ever hang out? this is one of my biggest regrets in life

ck, how come no love messages for me on my blog? I can tell you all sorts of secrets about Nathaniel like what he likes to watch on TV and what his eating habits are.

so this is how it is going to be cindy? giving up my secrets to the internet for what? jealousy? do i have to guard every move i make now?

Can you hide a tornado? Can you cool the lightning? Can you stop the rock? These things would be easier to do than for you to hide your living from me.

this is exciting. i love leaving random love messages on people's blogs.

don't worry nathaniel - i won't think less of you because you watch oddball commercials about gi joe. it's endearing

cindy, i had no idea that i should be so creeped out by you. ck, gi joe is barely the surface of a vast ocean of guilty viewing pleasure.

now i'm just creeped out by both of you - guilty viewing pleasures and stalking potential

maybe it IS best i left seattle...
